The Dental IQ treatment concept includes 3 main phases:

1. diagnostic and planning phase

2. health phase - biological dentistry - Dental-IQ-Biohealth-Concept

and optionally lastly the

3. aesthetics phase for a new or regained smile

Your first visit to us is not what you would expect from a visit to the dentist. In a cosy atmosphere, the doctor welcomes you in our consultation room. There we would like to discuss in a conversation what expectations you have of us and what wishes you have.

We will discuss our concept with you. This is followed by a diagnosis of the actual oral situation, a photo shoot in our photo studio, digital X-rays are taken if necessary, as well as digital impressions of your jaws and computer-aided functional diagnostics. All this collected information, together with the results from the Saluto prophylaxis, will now be discussed with you in a pure conversation lasting about 1 hour. In this way you experience, see and understand your oral ACTUAL condition. With the help of our own treatment library - i.e. no glossy pictures from any brochures - we explain to you which different treatment methods there are, with all the advantages and disadvantages, and you decide which method is suitable for you. The duty to inform also includes cost information, which we always send to you in writing before a planned treatment and have you confirm in writing.

This is serious and transparent.

2. Health Phase - Biological Dentistry - the Dental IQ Biohealth Concept: Biology, Function and Structure

First, visit us at Saluto Prophylaxis. We make you aware of the causal connections for your oral health. Your dental IQ increases, because you only see what you know! In our practice you become an enlightened patient.

Subsequently, all biological correlations such as caries, infections, periodontosis, chronic diseases, civilisation diseases, silent inflammations, meridian system, neural therapy, CaviTAU, micronutrient deficiency, Vit-D-Check, LDL-Cholesterin are treated. Next we look at functional aspects - the bite, correct jaw position and muscular balance (read more under CMD functional analysis) - and structural aspects - orthodontics to move teeth where they are needed and implants to support teeth - depending on where they are needed. All these aspects come together in our treatment approach. When these processes are complete, you will be orally healthy, functionally stable and structurally set up in such a way that we have now met the conditions for aesthetics and longevity.

3. Aesthetic phase

Aesthetic measures are the final step of the "treatment journey" when all other oral factors are healthy and stable.

With the information gathered from the diagnostic and planning phase, we can create a kind of digital clone of your oral situation, which serves as a basis for us to design your future smile. Your "newly created digital smile" is then transferred to an analogue wax model, which we can then transfer to your mouth. A photo session in our photo studio and video recordings capture this situation or simulation for you. If you agree with the design of your new smile, this is transferred into a detailed functional treatment plan, which contains all the necessary treatment steps from the current actual situation to the desired smile design. This plan includes function, biology and structure with the consideration of achieving a long-lasting healthy result. For each case we can simulate the new smile, using before and after videos before the actual treatment starts. We use these visual representations as visual communication with our patients. We show them what you would look like or will look like in a way that everyone understands.

At this point you will be informed about all costs, treatment details and alternatives.

Depending on the design and the initial situation, aesthetics in implementation can mean veneers, all-ceramic crowns or no-prep veneers or plastic ceramics.
